Saturday, October 26, 2013 - Halloween Party & Ghost Walk - There are many great things about Shirley and one of them is our old historic town common and graveyard. After dark the spirits of yesteryear inhabit the common and on Saturday night October 27thyou can take part in a spooky ghost walk when you attend the Halloween Party at the Center Town Hall. You'll be led by lantern light on a narrated walk and be treated to some local folk lore and ghost stories all the while. Afterward you can seek safety in the Center Town Hall and have some refreshments and boogie to the sounds of DJ Bob Wright from the Main Street Café in Groton.
Donation: Adults $5, Children 12 and under $3. All proceeds benefit the upkeep and maintenance of The Center Town Hall and The Shirley Meeting House. We'll also have a Loaves and Fishes donation box in the front hall if you would like to bring a food pantry donation. |
