2014 On- the-Common Events

Sunday Afternoon Jam, Sunday, October 12th - At 4pm, the Meeting House doors will open to welcome anyone who might want to make music with a group (or anyone who wants to listen). This is NOT an open mic.  We will be making music as a group. The format includes some specifics:  Please bring uplifting, positive songs that are commonly known or be willing to teach others an original or lesser-known song. All acoustic instruments are welcome and there is a piano available for. There will be no mics or amps. We will continue as interest dictates.  Come and have some fun, relax and enjoy!

Sunday, October 19th, 2-4 pm - Freedom's Way Heritage Association Annual Meeting

Saturday, October 25th, 6:00 pm - Family Halloween Party & Ghost Walk

Saturday, November 8th – Shirley Historical Society - Annual Meeting, Pot Luck Supper and Square Dancing at the Center Town Hall

Sunday, Decmber 7th, 6:30 pm. - Candlelight Vespers - A Wondrous Gift - Begin this season of peace, joy and love in the Shirley Meeting House. Come and listen to the words of our music and hear the music in our stories and poems.

Saturday, December 13th, 7:30 pm. - Arbella Ensemble - Twelve Days of Bach A program of Bach arias and duets for the Advent and Christmas seasons.
