2014 On- the-Common Events

Shirley Center Farmer’s Market - Thursdays, July 10th – September 25th – 4 pm to dusk - Live local entertainment every week

Saturday, September 13th, 6:30 pm - An Evening at the Meeting House - Faucher Family & Friends

Saturday, September 20th, 6 - 9 pm - Shirley Shines - A Shirley Talent Showcase - The evening begins at the Meeting House with a Variety Show followed by refreshments and time to view the displays at the Center Town Hall.

Sunday Afternoon Jam, Sunday, September 21st - At 4pm, the Meeting House doors will open to welcome anyone who might want to make music with a group (or anyone who wants to listen). This is NOT an open mic.  We will be making music as a group. The format includes some specifics:  Please bring uplifting, positive songs that are commonly known or be willing to teach others an original or lesser-known song. All acoustic instruments are welcome and there is a piano available for. There will be no mics or amps. We will continue as interest dictates.  Come and have some fun, relax and enjoy!

Saturday, November 8th – Shirley Historical Society - Annual Meeting, Pot Luck Supper and Square Dancing at the Center Town Hall

Sunday, December 7th, 6:30 pm. - Candlelight Vespers - Join us for our 11th Annual Vespers program. An evening of music, prose and stories.
