Jodie Rachman “Ukelele J” – Sunday, July 21st, 1:00 pm

As the daughter of a camp director Jodie Rachman aka “Ukelele J” sang her way through her childhood years. Now, many years later, having learned to play the ukulele, she has made it her mission to encourage joy and healing through music. She started her Elder Music Sing-A-Long program in January of 2016 and now visits residents in over 25 different facilities conducting group sing-a-longs for a variety of levels and abilities.

Beginning in January of 2019, she launched a fun and interactive pre-school music program called “Song Time Fun”, designed for pre-k children. And, in January of 2022 she published her children’s song and activity book “Song Time Fun”.

Another passion of hers, and what she is bringing to her Meetinghouse Porch Show, is the combination of stories and songs. With a variety of originals, and covers spanning the decades, even centuries she will weave a tale through song and verse.

Fran LaMalva – Sunday, September 8th, 1:00 pm

Fran LaMalva has been around for a while in these parts and has delighted every single crowd he’s performed for. His polished and intricate guitar styles and arresting vocals capture each song exquisitely, whether it’s one of his own compositions or a compelling cover.  A very heartwarming experience!

Not only does Fran play at the top-shelf level, but he builds his own guitars.  His luthier business is located at Lizard Eye Guitars and he hails from Hollis, NH.
